Sorry, it has been awhile.

Hey guys, sorry it has been awhile. Life has been a little hectic while I adjusted to my new job as a nanny for two kids. :) It's been fun though, but now that I'm getting used to it, hopefully I will be updating this more often. :p

For this post I just wanted to talk about money making opportunities online. I know there are a lot of hoaxes out there, so I'm not at all encouraging that you just go out there and google search money making opportunities, but the ones I will talk about today are totally legitimate, and personally tested and approved by me.

The first one I would like to talk about is mypoints.com. I have been a part of the mypoints community for about three years, and it definitely pays off. It is a wonderful site where once you sign up, you begin to earn points toward gift cards and/or online gift codes (they e-mail some of them to you, like some of the ones for Amazon.com and such). There are many ways to earn points, but some of my favorites are daily e-mails and printing coupons. I have talked about coupons.com before on this site, as one of my favorite coupon sites. Smartsource is another one I have talked about before as well. The great thing about mypoints is that you can earn points for printing the coupons you would be printing anyway! Both coupons.com and smartsource.com are linked to this site, and you can earn bonus points if you print and redeem more than ten in a month. (This is usually easy to do once you are used to couponing.) The daily e-mails can be overwhelming, but as long as you check your e-mail regularly, it's not bad. This is the way I earned my first gift card. It took me a year, but it was still worth it. You get five points for each e-mail you read just by clicking on the link to whatever the e-mail is advertising. The e-mails and links are always legitimate and there are not viruses as a result. $10 gift cards are usually somewhere around 1500 points, so it would take awhile to get there just by reading e-mails, but it's fairly quick and easy if you are also printing coupons. :) You can also earn points by shopping online, so if you are an online shopper (I'm not), you will earn points much more quickly.

The second one is opinionoutpost.com. This site is wonderful. Once you sign up, you fill out profiles, and they send surveys to an online members area where you can go in and take ones that are ready. You just sign in and there is a list of surveys that are available for you. I earned a ten dollar check within two weeks of signing up, which, compared to other survey sites is so quick! I am almost to another ten dollar check, but you can request them starting at five dollars earned. The point value per survey varies, and the point values stand for dollar amounts, such as, 15 points= 1.50, etc. It is a really quick way to make some small amounts of extra money here and there, and the checks are mailed from Utah. I got my check within a week of requesting it, even though they say to allow 4-6 weeks. :)

Check these sites out, they are awesome. :)
